    In depth

    Verdict

Sur Mer has placed in both outings here but found a horse rated 67 too good over track and trip last week. That gives her something to find with RODIN on these terms and the latter gets the vote having gone close at Chelmsford the last twice. Andrew Balding’s yard has a good strike rate at this venue and remains in fine form. Northern Queen and Capla Spirit return to action with a chance if taking to the Fibresand and as the first foal of a winning sprinter, the newcomer Passional should be noted for a trainer with an impressive strike rate at the track.
