In depth

Verdict

All obstacles come alike to veteran Jacarado but the handicapper appears to have been a little over-zealous in raising him 3lb for finishing second at Taunton last month. Monty's Moon has been knocking on the door but is still a maiden after 19 career starts and the weights suggest NOT A BOB can reverse Chepstow running with Rachel Hobbs' nine-year-old over this longer trip. The six-year-old is less exposed than most of his rivals and his pedigree suggests that staying will be his forte. Auberge has been below her best since returning from her winter break, while Glamorous Gg looks held on the form book and first-time blinkers suggest he has been saving a little for himself in his race. Burnthill stays well and may be best of the rest.
