Carragold won over a slightly shorter trip here back in February but has not been seen since. Staff Sergeant is a course and distance winner but looks a shade too high in the handicap at present and though Swift Cedar has won six times he has never scored over a trip this far. The three year olds Nomenklatura and Furiously Fast go on the short list, however, with the former preferred having already shown herself suited by 1m4f and this surface. BLADES LAD has already won twice on Fibresand and a good run over hurdles at Sedgefield last month increases confidence of another bold showing.
