Verdict

Strictly on the formbook Belcanto should have the beating of PRINCESS ROANIA as she's better off at the weights and has the benefit of a debut run under her belt but we'll stay with the Bowen inmate. Sean Bowen's claim will certainly aid the topweight and she's displayed a really pleasing attitude on each of her three starts. She could well represent a touch of value too. Tilinisi ran a splendid race on debut to get within half a length of a John Ferguson hotpot but it's questionable if the form can be taken at face value in what looked a strangely-run affair. She's respected all the same as is Bollin Beauty and the point-to-point winning pair of Kilcullen Lady and A Touch Of Sass. Blu Passione represents a yard which does well in bumpers and it would be no surprise to see an improved showing from her debut.
