In depth

Verdict

The staying chaser Sound Accord followed three pulled-up runs with a better effort on his debut for Brian Ellison at Chepstow and has every chance in this very poor finale. GLEN COUNTESS landed a point-to-point in Ireland before making her debut under Rules in a Fairyhouse bumper where she ran well for a long way before tiring. She's joined Brendan Powell and can make a winning start on her debut in the UK. Uncle Pelder followed a fair run in a Huntingdon bumper with a shocker at Bangor and makes no appeal while Lucky Landing has been running very poorly over fences but at least has the advantage of having scored in this sort of grade at Uttoxeter just over a year ago.
