Verdict

Patontheback won a classified event here last time but is 10lb higher than when landing a handicap at Wolverhampton before that. Starter For Ten scored at Kempton last month and the runner-up Porfin has subsequently notched-up a hat-trick while Toptime went close over the minimum trip here and is fitted with a tongue-tie today. But David Barron’s yard has won with three of only five runners so far this month and having gone close at Wolverhampton last week, DEEVIOUS BEAU is taken to go one better.
