Penel, Mind Alert and Orchestration are the three for the shortlist here and Orchestration, in winning form last time, is taken to follow up. Penel won over seven furlongs here two outings ago in handicap company before finishing third in a claimer over this course and distance last time. He may just lack the speed over this shorter trip and can go well but is passed over. Mind Alert has not won in almost a year but has been running promisingly in his last two starts, staying on well in the closing stages both times to be close up. He is thoroughly exposed but looks set to be thereabouts again. Orchestration is a runner who is stepping up in distance here, having run well over the minimum trip here on his last two starts. He ended a winless run of over a year last time and with renewed confidence is taken to last home over this longer trip. Orchestration can lead his rivals a merry dance.
