Verdict

Dapper Man arrives in good form but has just the one win in 15 starts on the all-weather while My Kinda Day has yet to race on this surface. Roong Roong is another debuting on Fibresand but he has the scope to figure while Undercover Brother scored over track and trip in August, though is 7lb higher today. Course regulars and stablemates Crosse Fire and SAMOVAR (NAP) took part in the same sprint here last time when the latter came out best in fourth. This is easier and, given he can include last year’s renewal among five course wins, Scott Dixon’s charge gets the nod.
