Verdict

HONOURED looks to have the strongest recent form at the track. He landed the odds as he should have done in a claimer here last time and is the one to beat on his earlier placed efforts in this grade. Noguchi won a plating race over track and trip in February but was beaten out of sight despite finishing second here a fortnight ago with the disappointing Recession Proof even further behind. Teajaybe looks a bigger threat on his latest eight-length victory on this surface though he's upped in class off an 8lb higher mark today. Tartan Jura returns to action off a winning mark and he's preferred to Lady Amakhala on his earlier placed form on the Fibresand.
