Verdict

It is hard to get away from the chances of the in form Moayed who is selected to beat Halmahera and Justalord. Nick Littmoden's gelding is a decent performer on all three artificial tracks and landed a decent handicap at Wolverhampton last time, beating Quito by a comfortable three-quarters of a length. The drop to five furlong will not be a problem as he was just touched off over course and distance last month. In this sort of mood he is the one to be on. Halmahera could go well at a decent price, Kevin Ryan's nine-year-old never got in a blow behind the selection last time, but will be much better suited by the fast five furlongs and looks set for at least a place. Justalord hasn't raced since August when easily landing a Musselburgh handicap. He has put up some very good displays here in the past and must enter calculations. Dancing Mystery is weighted to go close and may prove best of the remainder, but for the winner we return to Moayed.
