There always has to be the danger that a 'last time out winner' in this grade will prove to be a flash in the pan and it is as much in hope as it is in confidence that Misty Man is selected over Sunnyside Royale and Cumwhitton here. In contrast to the absolute leap of faith it would take to give Lago Di Como a solid mention as he has been off the track since December 2001. However, Misty Man has held his own in modest company of late and looks to have been found a good opportunity to follow up his selling grade win at Wolverhampton from January. The absence from the track should not be a problem for the six-year-old as he goes well fresh and, as he acts well at this course, he is looks the safest option out of this bunch set to assemble.
