      Verdict

      MARBLE BAR had leading claims of landing a hat-trick here yesterday and would carry a double penalty if successful. But Iain Jardine’s charge still gets the vote given he finished well ahead of Crosse Fire when scoring over track and trip last week and the latter went on to win over 7f here with Gentlemen not far behind in third. A winner over 5f at Chelmsford, Saaheq failed to cope off today’s higher mark last time while Mujassam's earlier success at the same track came over a mile in plating company.
