Verdict

VIRNON returned to form when scoring by five lengths over track and trip a fortnight ago, his debut on the Fibresand. He beat Kingscombe on that occasion so a good run from the latter earlier on the card would boost confidence in his chances of following up. Play Nicely found one too good under a penalty here last time having won over track and trip earlier while The Lock Master failed to cope with a 5lb rise on his latest start having scored over 1m3f here previously. Golden Jubilee was narrowly beaten at Wolverhampton off today's mark recently and has been placed on this surface before.
