        Verdict

        Note Perfect is no more than a hopeful selection in a trappy contest. One Called Alice and Amicable Terms are two others that may feature. A number of the field are unexposed and the market will be well worth monitoring for moves. The selection has run well here in the past and has winning handicap form from her current mark so looks one of the likelier candidates. This is a step up in trip and her racing style is such that we couldn't be entirely confident that it will bring about improvement but she's bred to stay at least this far so we'll take the chance. Track and trip look fine for One Called Alice but she keeps finding at least one too good and is worth taking on again as far as win only purposes are concerned. Amicable Terms is just one of many in the field who have shown precious little in a handful of starts; for many this will represent their first realistic opportunity and the market may prove useful. For the time being though, we'll take Note Perfect to hit the heights.
