In depth

Verdict

Kilcannon Supreme gets the confident vote in the finale with Regal Tang and Rathcor rating the main dangers. The selection was a fair fourth in a similar race behind The Polomoche on his debut despite running green. He looks sure to improve and under similar conditions he stands out as the one to be on. Regal Tang rates the main danger as he hails from a yard that can ready a newcomer and this Cois Na Tine gelding out of winning hurdler Wynyard Lady will not have to be anything special to take a hand in the finish. Rathcor won at Loughbrickland in an irsh point-to-pont in April beating Ross An Ri and although the drop in trip has to be of concern he should be watched in the market. Of the remainder, Grumpy Bee is a Needle Gun Gelding but he is bred to be suited by a longer trip in time and for the winner we will return to Kilcannon Supreme, who is taken to put his experience to good use.
