In depth

Verdict

Custard The Dragon beat Glory of Paris over track and trip in January but has struggled since while Al Suil Eile won over 6f here in the same month but has failed to figure subsequently. Redesdale Rebel ran poorly here before winning at Newcastle and Waitaki’s earlier success came at Kempton. CAPE CRECO raced without success in France last year but made a promising start for his new yard when runner-up on last week’s Fibresand debut. He looks capable of scoring off his current mark on that evidence and gets the vote.
