RED INVADER was having only his third start for John Butler when winning over the minimum trip at Wolverhampton. He beat long-time leader Bahango easily enough and has won on the Fibresand in the past. Both Filbert Street and Poppy Jag posted better efforts over track and trip on their respective latest starts while Viking Way was beaten less than a length over 6f at Wolverhampton and has his first start on this surface along with Boudica Bay. The latter scored at Catterick last year but Maureb hasn’t won since 2017 now.
