        Verdict

        It has taken Zahunda a couple of recent outings to find her racing shoes but she shaped up nicely enough last time to be given the nod here. Pagan Storm and Lake Verdi are others to consider for each-way players. The latter represents a yard that have a very good strike-rate on the artificial surfaces and any support from the betting ring will be dangerous to dismiss. The son of Lake Coniston, who was rated 91 at his best, has been hard to place to good effect since his juvenile days, but he does look worth another try at this trip. He is one to note whatever happens. So too is Pagan Storm, who has run some of his better races at seven furlongs and should be capable of making the frame in this company. However, he already has a little to find with Zahunda after their encounter at Wolverhampton eight days ago and, with race fitness now on her side the Spectrum mare is expected to confirm the worth of the form today.
