Verdict

Winning pointer UNEXPECTED DEPTH hasn’t really built on his hurdling debut at Cork but is one of the more likely winners of an ordinary maiden. Cheekpieces could revive the four-year-old Hewick while Dark Decade reverts to maiden company having shown some ability in handicaps. Valley Breeze hasn’t shown a great deal in bumpers and it remains to be seen if a switch to hurdles brings about much improvement.
