In depth

Verdict

Stalingrad looks best of the older horses as he'd been in good form at Dundalk before a moderate run there in March where he didn't look right. Coins Cross couldn't get close to Pale Iris, who was completing a double, at Naas but with improvement likely Edward O'Grady's charge should make a bold bid to open his account. Even Flow had looked a likely winner this campaign after a promising opening season but disappointed on her reappearance at Gowran. YOUNG ANGEL was staying on strongly over 5f on heavy ground at Navan so this trip and better ground will suit and she can take this for Dermot Weld and Colin Keane.
