Fighting Days couldn't get near the eased-down May Dullea at Down Royal but it was still a much improved run and progress is virtually guaranteed. Shaiyzar only went up 4lb for beating a huge field at Down Royal in May and started favourite at Roscommon a month later but was well held when falling at the last. Gretzky is a regular winner on the all-weather but hasn't really got to grips with hurdling while Personal Shopper is very consistent which means the assessor can't release his grip despite the fact he's won just once in 24 starts over timber. EMMY LOU has yet to win a race of any description but she ran her best race for a long time when third at Tramore last time and looks ready to lose that long-running maiden tag.
