In depth

Verdict

Grams And Ounces is receiving weight all round here despite picking up a penalty for easily winning an amateurs' race at Stratford last week but is taking on better opposition today. Cape York will probably be back over fences soon but the unexposed Cooking Fat could be interesting and makes more appeal than the other four-year-old Come On Sunshine. WATERCLOCK (NAP) has yet to win over timber but could put that right today as he won again on the Flat at Beverley last month and trip and going here should prove ideal. Bangor winner Ever So Much is preferred to Russian Royale of the others.
