In depth

Verdict

Whatcanyasay may be able to find sufficient improvement to confirm recent form with Physical Force and to get the better of his other rivals. The selection has risen almost 20lbs since winning this race last year but a second course and distance success on his latest start indicates that his improvement has shown no signs of abating. Physical Force is 2lbs better off for half a length but Evelyn Slack's gelding knows where the line is and is preferred. Northern Quest is another progressive sort with excellent claims and a 9lb rise may not be enough to collar him. Good ground or faster suits him ideally and he holds a leading chance. Market support for some of these would make them of interest with Deja Vu, Solarias Quest and Jeringa three from that category whilst Izzykeen has to be on the short-list with the yard going well and conditions to suit. Competitive fare but we'll stick with Whatcanyasay.
