In depth

Verdict

Dieg Man beat Blottos three lengths over a similar trip at Catterick in January but the latter is now 6lb better off and Neil Mulholland’s string is struggling for form at present. Blottos’ stablemate Black Art has done his winning over shorter and didn’t appear to stay this trip back in November. QUICK PICK wasn’t unduly punished once his chance had gone in a Grade 3 at Sandown earlier this month. He’d beaten Henry's Joy and It's Your Move a shade cosily over course and distance earlier and looks favoured by the weights today. Iolani has finished last in all three starts so far for Dianne Sayer.
