In depth

Verdict

Not a race to get too heavily involved with at this stage of the week but Sovereign State has taken well to the winner game and he has enough scope to cope with his penalty at this stage of his career. Big Wheel and Lanzlo are others who are entitled to get involved at the finish and, along with the top weight Gone Too Far, are ones to watch out for if supported. However, Sovereign State arrives here after a confidence boosting victory in a seller at Stratford last time and he may be too hard to reel-in if he runs his usual race from the front today.
