In depth

Verdict

A tough race to call here for punters with very little between many of the leading lights but the principals look to be Zaffie Parson, Nuzzle and Pearl Fisher and the tentative vote is given to Nuzzle. The selection was slightly disappointing last time out but prior to that had been in good form, she has been freshened up since that run and off what remains a fair mark she looks a value bet in an open affair. Zaffie Parson rates the main danger on his latest fifth behind Some Touch, this faster ground will also suit him and with his shrewd yard in good form he should be closely watched in the market. Pearl Fisher was a fair second behind Yenaled last time and is another that could go well but her form on a fast surface leaves her with plenty to find. The Boobi is another that looks well weighted on his best form but all his best efforts have come over a longer trip. This is a trappy affair and stakes should be kept to a minimum but for the winner we return to Nuzzle who is a token choice.
