Another Emotion took advantage of testing conditions to score at Wetherby and the ground may not be right for him here. WELL SMITTEN had dropped to his lowest mark since scoring at Wetherby a year ago when just failing to concede Westend Theatre 19lb at Newcastle last week. He can race from the same mark and go one better. Sandford Castle has been in excellent shape since scoring at Taunton in December and was only beaten a neck from this mark at Wincanton on Thursday so looks a big threat. But James Bowen, who rode him, switches to his father's Game Line, who won easily on heavy going at Carlisle and would have to be considered if the going eases despite a 9lb rise. Gran Paradiso, a three-times winner between the flags, ran well over the course and distance last month though is another happier on more testing ground.
