Verdict

Spider Music, Lucky Duck and Bill's Echo could fight out the finish here with the former just being preferred. Nicky Richards has his string in good form and this son of Orchestra can be given a great chance against this opposition if reproducing his running behind to high class Sh Boom last March. He only went down by fourteen lengths in that Huntingdon contest and there is nothing of that caliber here today. Lucky Duck does have the best recent form having chased home Moonlit Harbour over course and distance last month and he should be the main threat to the selection. Bill's Echo has been well beaten in recent events but has come up against some decent types and will be more at home against these rivals. Northern Minster has recent winning form so is another to consider but we will take a chance that Spider Music can return to his best and he is given the nod.
