    Verdict

Buck Mulligan finally has his sights lowered but it's more than two-and-a-half years since he last won over fences and there are likely to be one or two too good for him again here on the ground. Corkage is accustomed to carrying big weights and only 3lb higher than when winning easily over hurdles at Doncaster in March. Tyrone House is a C&D winner and Carpincho and Rackham Lerouge also make some appeal but NO PLANNING was quite impressive when making a winning start over fences at Hexham and looks nicely handicapped given that he should improve for the experience. Sue Smith's gelding gets the nod as Global Flyer may need to drop a few pounds more before getting his head back in front.
