Abbi McCain is reunited with Princess Mononoke having won on her father’s mare over course and distance in January. Her mount has run well off higher marks since and should prove to tough to beat but PC DIXON also arrives in peak form. Though he’s only won a novice event so far, he’s been knocking on the door in handicaps and can shrug off a further 3lb rise. Strait Run is another recent winner over track and trip and he went close at Carlisle subsequently on heavy going. Budarri may be best of the rest as the jury is out on Hardrock Davis at present.
