In depth

Verdict

The three-year-old filly Madam Lilibet has a huge weight pull but was beaten a long way when runner-up at Hexham last time. Winning point-to-pointer Witness In Court was having just his second start for Donald McCain when attempting to make all over 2m7f at Kelso in May. He only faded in the closing stages and was narrowly beaten with the remainder well behind. He'll make a bold bid though Kate Walton has a couple of chances with Oscar O'scar and Victor Lynch, who should both be capable of making progress. LISHEEN HILL looks the one to be on with his fitness advantage just handing him the edge. A winning point-to-pointer in April, he caught the eye on his first start under Rules at Kempton last month and that should have brought him to concert pitch for this.
