In depth

Verdict

Not a lot of form to go upon and CARPINCHO brings the best bumper efforts into play on this occasion. Unsighted in the Cheltenham champion bumper behind Cue Card, he had previously run up a very decent third to Al Ferof at Newbury. As a recruit from the pointing sphere, he should have few issues in relation to the trip. Kalulushi is from a fairly illustrious pedigree that has Dato Star in and amongst its relations. He was relatively cheap by the stable standards though this race lacks strength in depth. Bravello is closely related to a Thyestes winner so again, stamina looks assured. Ballet D'Anges looks likely to have the pacesetting duties whilst Rock Relief makes a debut for Chris Grant having left Sir Mark Prescott
