    Verdict

Yet another small field to round off the day's proceedings with the vote going to the consistent Mantilla, who gets the verdict over Bobanvi and In Good Faith. The last mentioned is a capable performer in this grade but probably needs some help from the handicapper, while Bobanvi has to overcome a 10lb rise in the weights following his win at Carmel last time. That will make his task more difficult here and we prefer to side with Mantilla. The Ian Williams-trained mare was good value for her win in a handicap at Fontwell two starts ago and lost no caste in defeat behind Howaboys Quest off a 5lb higher mark at Market Rasen subsequently. The six-year-old races off the same mark here and gets the vote to return to winning ways. Book's Way and Polar Gunner make limited appeal.
