In depth

Verdict

Recent hunter chase winners KNOCKLONG (NAP) and Mr Raj may well dominate this, despite carrying penalties. The former has won nine of his last 10 under Rules and in point-to-points and is from an up-and-coming stable in this sphere. Joe Wright is good value for his 5lb claim and he can see off the attentions of Mr Raj, a five-times winner between the flags who won a Taunton maiden last month. The Banastoir is preferred to Preacher's Belle and Oscar Stanley of the others.
