Verdict

BEAUMONT'S PARTY won a similar class handicap from just 3lb lower here in November and returned to form on the track last week when a close third. He should be good enough in a very moderate contest. Endeavor has been placed brilliantly to win 14 of his 100 starts as he's by no means a star. He's back on exactly the same mark as his latest victory at Carlisle in October so looks a threat. He's won here in the past as has Jebulani though the latter has been in poor form recently. Gunner Lindley has never won in 18 starts over timber but has gone close on several occasions and is fitted with a first-time visor.
