There doesn't look to be much between any of the top six in the handicap in this but the remainder all have a bit to prove. Esme Rides A Gaine hasn't won for more than two years but is back on a winning mark though, along with Frontier Boy, finished tailed off behind Pyjama Game at Hexham last time. Rose Dobbin's charge is penalised here, as is BALLYVONEEN. The top weight's victory at Plumpton came out of the blue but he was in sparkling form at this time last year and has won over course and distance. He gets the nod ahead of Irish raider Baizically and recent Market Rasen third Moon Melody.
