Both winners over a mile, Kaafel and Rhagori are not easily dismissed over this longer trip. Croquembouche has scored over 1m2f, however, and has scope for further improvement while Buster Brown got the better of Operation Tracker by a short-head at Newcastle a fortnight ago though they are closely matched here. Handicap debutant Taglietelle may figure and Top Billing would come into the reckoning if any rain arrives but a chance is taken on PALUS SAN MARCO. He finished third over 1m4f last time but drops back to his winning trip today and may come out best in a competitive contest.
