NonRunner

In depth

Verdict

Several of these have similar claims including the veteran DIRECTORSHIP. The top weight ran well under today’s apprentice behind the in-form Sir Roderic over track and trip a fortnight ago and should be in the mix once again. Bastille Day came up short at Newmarket attempting to land a four-timer and recent Ascot runner-up War Story is preferred. Pensax Boy was a close-up fourth at HQ last time while Sky Ship drops back down a grade and Laidback Romeo and Abareeq are upped in class. Taqwaa ended last season with a maiden win at Chepstow in August and makes his belated reappearance in a wide-open contest.
