    Verdict

Brown Panther won this two years ago and subsequent Gold Cup hero Trip To Paris was second last year. Max Dynamite has his first run since finishing a close second in the Melbourne Cup in November but will probably be a warm favourite having beaten some top-class stayers in the Lonsdale Cup at York in August. However, we were taken by BURMESE's run in the Sagaro Stakes, where he was badly impeded. He looks highly progressive and should reverse that form with Suegioo and go well. Pallasator won the Doncaster Cup in September and is rarely far away in these big staying races, though won’t be helped by his penalty. Frosty Berry surprised Clever Cookie at Nottingham but has even more on his plate tonight.
