      Verdict

DARTMOUTH, by Dubawi out of a Galileo mare, is certainly bred for the job and could be a nice middle-distance prospect next season. He wasn't given a hard time on his introduction at Goodwood and that kindness can be repaid here. Haydock fifth Rosenbaum, representing last year's winning stable, is another with plenty of scope but Delusional was last on his debut at Ascot. Of the newcomers, Nota Cambiata is bred to stay and makes more appeal than stable companions Chicago Bere and Port.
