Fort can follow up his recent Epsom success at the expense of Tashkil and Notable Guest. Mark Johnston's colt had a far from gentle introduction in that seven furlong event, with Keith Dalgleish dishing out a few right handers in the final furlong, however Mark's horses are famously tough and Fort is bound to come on for the run. John Gosden's Tashkil improved on his debut to beat the highly regarded Just a Fluke at Doncaster in early August and rates a big danger. Notable Guest has to be feared especially if the market speaks in his favour. The Kingmambo colts hails from the powerful Michael Stoute yard who's two year old debutants always know their job. But there is know substitute for experience and Fort gets the nod.
