      Verdict

Downturn missed the break on his debut at Goodwood and will know more today. The form is nothing special, however, though better than that of the twice-raced Bahamian Heights. SOLIDARITY is an early entry in next year's Epsom Derby and certainly bred for the job, being by Dubawi out of a Cape Cross mare. There are likely to be a few long faces if he can't put these in their place, though Diapenko also has an interesting pedigree and The Wallace Line and Leaderene are worth monitoring for any market support
