Verdict

The once-useful TURKO returned to action under Rules with an excellent run behind William Somers in a strong event at Leicester and his rider has a fine record at this meeting. The veteran I Hear Thunder made a successful start to his point-to-point career last month but this is tougher and Mister Apple's is likely to pose more of a threat. Ian Williams' charge won six times over fences in his heyday and showed he is no back number with a cracking effort behind Ice Tea, who runs earlier, at Doncaster. Honour's Dream is consistent but a little out of his depth and it could be Ultimate Limit, who goes well after a break and has won five chases, who gives the principals more to think about.
