Verdict

Lucy Wadham sent out last year’s winner and saddles the top weight this time in the filly Shambra, She won at Ludlow and Wetherby before finding the step up to Class 2 company at Haydock last month beyond her. Eragon De Chanay has been highly tried since winning at Ffos Las in October but Erick Le Rouge was well behind Born Legend on debut at Bangor, though ahead of subsequent Hereford scorer Royale Zanzibar at Newbury subsequently. After placed efforts in decent company, QUOTHQUAN (NAP) deserves a change of luck. He won over 1m6f on heavy going on the Flat and looks well treated on his handicap debut.
