Verdict

The betting market has always been a good guide to the outcome of this Listed mares' bumper and any market moves should be monitored closely. Four-year-olds have only won it twice but the younger generation have a decent entry this year including Folkestone winner Umadachar and Chilworth Screamer, who finished ahead of Gowithdflo when just beaten by The Wee Lass at Taunton. Call Me A Star beat Cherry Lady on debut at Wetherby when Ginger Fizz was only fourth, but the runner-up let the form down behind Gowithdflo at Huntingdon next time and Alan King's mare herself was beaten at Kempton last month. Anthony Honeyball does well with his bumper horses and appears to hold a strong hand here with Taradrewe and ELEVEN FIFTY NINE. Rachael Green rode the former to victory at Warwick but switches to the latter here. She has been brought along very quietly this winter after finishing runner-up to the smart Colour Squadron at Chepstow in October and gets the vote.
