In depth

Verdict

Jeremy Noseda's Bahama Mama ran respectably in the Albany Stakes at Royal Ascot last time but may not appreciate the drop back to the minimum trip and a better bet looks to be Norfolk Stakes third Cav Okay, who is preferred to Resignation. The last mentioned stepped up on the form of his debut effort when landing a Bath novice race last time and Richard Hannon's colt is clearly going the right way; however, stablemate Cav Okay has the best form of these and he is hard to oppose. Scented Present is held by the selection on Royal Ascot form, while La Neige may want a softer surface to show his best form. There are no doubts on that score for Cav Okay though and he gets the vote.
