Turthen is respected, Scots Grey and Mokum both have to be on the short-list but Bolachoir is the one to be with here. Patrick Chamings's gelding was dropping below three miles for the first time when making his Rules debut here last month but that proved no barrier to success as he stayed on strongly to get the better of Le Passing. He has something to find with a couple of these at the weights but has proved his ability to jump round here and is a horse on the up. Jamie Snowden and Paul Nicholls have combined to win the last three runnings but they've gone their separate ways this year. Snowden must have leading claims aboard Scots Grey who may not be easy to pass if getting into a good rhythm. Turthen broke a blood vessel when last in action and hasn't won since leaving his native France but he cannot possibly be ruled out given the season that his stable are having. Mokum was the beneficiary of a fall here last time but he was in the process of running another sound race and should be in the mix again. Out The Black and Caged Tiger rate a mention but have a little to prove and Bolachoir is our idea of the winner.
