Verdict

Ustica is clearly on an upward curve but this is a tough baptism in handicaps. LESSONS IN MILAN also makes his handicap debut but couldn't have been more impressive when scoring at Lingfield having earlier finished third to Albert Bartlett fancy Out Sam at Ascot. He could be well treated and is preferred to last month's Exeter winner Molly's A Diva and Araldur, who has a good record in the grade but finished behind American Life at Haydock in January. Serienschock is usually thereabouts but the once-useful Crack Away Jack will probably need this while El Dancer and Invicta Lake were both pulled up last time.
