    Verdict

ZEBEDEE can take this valuable prize ahead of Jamesway and The Thrill Is Gone, although all five have claims of sorts. Richard Hannon's grey has always been well thought of and showed why when winning his first two starts comfortably. The form of both races wouldn't be strong but he showed when fifth in the Coventry Stakes that he's got plenty of ability and with the yard's juvenile bandwagon continuing to roll he's likely to be hard to beat, with that Royal Ascot run setting a clear standard. Jamesway made a winning debut in a good time at Southwell earlier on this year before coming unstuck when upped in grade at Musselburgh. However, he put that behind him with a decisive win last time and the stiff finish here should suit him. As with our selection, he represents a yard firing in winners and remains open to progress. The Thrill Is Gone is slightly more exposed than our preferred pair but ran a game race at Chester last time, showing plenty of speed and spirit too. She could be hard to pass is able to get to the rail but her form may just begin to plateau and she's taken on. Believe It Or Not landed a touch at Windsor but the bare form leaves him something to find while Phoebs may be suited by dropping back to five after running a reasonable race at Royal Ascot, but prior to that she'd looked no star and may be found wanting. Zebedee has the form in the book and can provide Richard Hannon with another juvenile winner.
