Verdict

The market may help solve this puzzle but without that guide INTROVERT looks the one to side with ahead of Mutajare and Chain Lightning. Mahmood Al Zarooni's charge was evidently unfancied ahead of his debut second and shaped as though he'd come on plenty for the experience. He had a stablemate back in third and that one has run well in defeat earlier this week, so the early signs are the form looks fair and Ahmed Ajtebi takes over from an apprentice. Mutajare represents a yard whose juveniles tend to come on plenty for their first run and this £80,000 purchase showed up well for a long way at Redcar, before inexperience cost him a winning chance. As with our pick little was expected that day and we should witness a better performance. Chain Lightning is the most interesting newcomer, being out of a dam who was closely related to pattern-class performers at this sort of distance. The yard have a profitable record with juveniles here this term and support should be noted. Interestingly Richard Hughes is on board Jehanbux instead so again a market check is needed but this Giant's Causeway colt is bred to want further. Similar comments apply to Roman Eagle although the stiff finish here will help both. El Mansour ran well on debut when behind one of Hannon's, shaping as though he'd improve for the run, and is another to consider along with Orange Ketchup who looks to be bred for seven furlongs and represents a shrewd outfit. Plenty to consider in this maiden but we'll side with the form claims of Introvert, who can come out of his shell.
